The Command and Control Center shows that nearly all scheduled deliveries will be on time and no components are missing.

A simulated delay of several ships that have to pass the Suez Canal on their way triggers a system message (alert) to the user.

The network graphic for one of the delayed customer orders shows the cause of the delay: component E2512 is not sufficiently available.

The system shows that the required component could also be purchased from another supplier with a very short lead time - but at double the price per piece.

The second supplier could close the gap, the safety stock of the component would remain untouched.

As further components are still missing, there are still delayed customer orders left in this scenario. However, their share of the total volume has already been significantly reduced.
